Zombie Awareness Month–The Films

Well we said we were taking it a little bit more relaxed on the recurring awareness months and after some advice from zombie legend Robert Hood and browsing some zombie blogs, I’ve chosen a ten must-see zombie film list. Regardless of the advice I have received and all I have read, this is my final list and any criticism of it can be levelled firmly at myself.

This is basically a list chosen for those who may not have a grasp of the zombies in film, or who are very new to the scene.

6th-8th May: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920)

9th-11th May: I Walked with a Zombie (1943)

12th-14th May: Night of the Living Dead (1968)

15th-17th May: Dawn of the Dead (1978)

18th-20th May: Zombi (1979)

21st-23rd May: Evil Dead II (1987)

24th-26th May: Resident Evil (2002)

27th-29th May: Dawn of the Dead (2004)

30th-31st May: Pontypool (2008)
